"But that's not the way I learned it..." held on November 9, 2016
Our fall meeting was held Wednesday, November 9th, 2016 at Parkway West High School (Newly Renovated!!). It was wonderful to tour this new space and network with other librarians. Our speaker for the evening was Glenn Hancock of Rockwood Schools.
The one sentence that is continually uttered to educators is, "But that isn't how I learned it". In the ever changing landscape of education, keeping balance and developing connections between our instructional, assessment and student engagement practices of learning will help our evolving learners thrive. This presentation will help provide educators with why we need to continue to change our practices and share the importance of bringing everything back to developing Hope and Efficacy for our students through real life pitfalls and resources through a "Top Ten List" of lessons learned of an educator.
